Cadillac

Cadillac, an American Luxury vehicle, is currently the second oldest American automobile manufacturer behind fellow GM's Buick make. Cadillac was founded in 1902 by Henry Leland, a master mechanic and entrepreneur.  The company's original crest is based on a coat of arms that his ancestor, Antoine de la Mothe Cadillac, had created 1687.

Cadillac has always aimed for precision engineering and stylish luxury.  As an example, it installed shatter-resistant glass in 1926, introduced the 'turret top,' all-steel roof on a passenger car, and in 1948, Tailfins were added to body shape.  This philosophy has caused its cars to be ranked among the finest in the US.
